About The Game

About the Game

It packs all the fun of politics into a 30 to 75-minute battle between two political parties.

The game is simple: you and your opponents are the High Commands.

There are nine constituencies, and you must secure at least five to win. Each constituency has its own prominent voters based on religion, caste, and identity—the "necessary evils" of the trade.

Your job? Pick the right CandyNeta for each constituency: Clean, Crook, or Corrupt. Different CandyNetas have different resources—KhokaPeti (Funds) and Chele (Supporters). You need resources for campaigns to win votes. You also need false promises—Jumla is the perfect Indian word for that!

But watch out—politics is harsh. Sometimes your CandyNeta gets hit by allegations (Attacks). Though Crooks and the Corrupt are more resourceful, they are also more vulnerable.

Between campaigns and attacks, Breaking News strikes. It might help you gain or lose ground—one minute you’re trending, the next you’re defending.

Think you’ve won five constituencies? Think again. The real drama begins with Horse Trading. Backroom deals and leftover Funds come into play—it’s all fair game here.

That’s Election Tamasha: politics, drama, and jugaad rolled into one big laugh.

You’ll argue, plot, and laugh your way through it—just like real elections, but without the morchebazi.

Next time you’re arguing politics at the chai stall or family dinner, don’t just talk—play.

We take pride in our roots. Election Tamasha is 100% Made in India, ensuring high-quality production standards while supporting local manufacturing.

Is this a real political game?

It is a satirical board game. While it mimics the high-energy "tamasha" of real-world elections, all characters, events, and scenarios are fictional and intended for entertainment and educational purposes only.

Is the game difficult to learn?

Not at all! We’ve designed the game to be "Easy to Learn, Hard to Master." The illustrated rulebook walks you through your first turn in less than 10 minutes.

What happens if I lose all my resources?

In the world of Election Tamasha, you are never truly out until the final count. You can forge alliances with other players or play a "Wildcard" card to jump back into the race.

Can I play this with my family?

Absolutely. While the game involves strategy and "dirty" political tricks (in-game only!), it is a fantastic way to engage in friendly competition with family and friends aged 14 and above.

Is the game replayable, or is it a one-time experience?

Election Tamasha is designed for infinite replayability. Unlike "legacy" or "escape room" style games, the board and components are not destroyed during play. Every session is different because the 100+ 'Tamasha' Cards appear in a random order, and the strategies of your opponents will change every time you play. No two "elections" will ever result in the same outcome!
